The 2016 ARIA Annual Conference was held in Boston, the United States, from August 7 to 10. Professor Zheng Wei was invited to attend the conference and reported a conference paper entitled Are People Economically Prepared for Retirement? A Case from the Transition Economy, which is coauthored with Liu Zining and Jia Ruo, on Retirement Decisions sub-forum. Besides, Professor Zheng commented on a paper on the Income and Savings Decision sub-forum.

The 2016 APRIA Annual Conference was held from July 31 to August 3 in Cheng Du. Associate Professor Chen Kai from the Department of Risk Management and Insurance, and four students attended the meeting. Postdoctoral student Wan Yanruiyun reported his paper co-authored with Suo Lingyan an Empirical Study on China’s Insurers Financial Stability. Ph. D. student Qin Yun delivered her paper co-authored with Wan Yanruiyun The Behavioral Perspective on Annuity Puzzle in China. Ph. D. student Liu Zining reported a conference paper entitled Are People Economically Prepared for Retirement? A Case from the Transition Economy which is co-authored with Zheng Wei and Jia Ruo. Graduate student Shen Si reported a paper entitled The Measurement of Tax Expenditures of Supplementary Private Pensions: Take China as an Example which is co-authored with Chen Guang.

Besides, Liu Zining and Qin Yun also took part in the 7^th CICIRM in Xi’an. Liu Zining reported a paper on the sub-forum.
