It is the 115th anniversary after the birth of Mr. Chen Daisun, who is the grandmaster of Chinese economy academia and a professor of SEPKU. He devoted his life to the cause of education in economics and won love and respect from the countless students he has taught. From May 5 to May 9, the photo exhibition of Mr. Chen Daisun’s 115^th birth anniversary opened up in the library of PKU.

Professor Liu Wei, Vice President of PKU, made a speech to cherish the memory of Mr. Chen Daisun’s ordinary but great life and encourage everyone to inherit and promote his spiritual heritage. Professor Zhang Zheng, Vice Dean of SEPKU, Professor Ping Xinqiao, Academic Council Chairman, and Professor Liu Shuwei, alumni of SEPKU, also delivered speeches respectively.

On May 6, Professor Sun Qixiang came to visit the exhibition. She stressed that the exhibited pictures and literature embodied Mr. Chen Daisun’s colorful and legendary life. She said that although the pictures and documents displayed are limited, but the spiritual wealth he left is infinite.
