On March 23^rd, Prof. Robert Zimmer, President of University of Chicago visited PKU, accompanied by Vice President Ian Solomon, Associate Vice-President Michael Kulm and UOC Beijing Office Director Yang Dali. School leaders received the guests and negotiated about the deep cooperation between PKU and UOC.

Then President Robert Zimmer visited SEPKU. Prof. Sun Qixiang, Dean of SEPKU attended the reception and had a detailed talk with the President about student exchange, joint doctoral training and summer school. Dr Qin Xuezheng, Assistant Dean for Foreign Affairs of SEPKU, Prof. Ye Jingyi, Director of Department of Economics, Prof. Li Lianfa, Deputy Director of  Department of Finance, and Dr Chen Yi, Assistant Professor of Department of International Economics and Trade accompanied.

Dean Sun introduced briefly to the guests an overview of faculties, research, students and alumni, etc. She fully supports a further in-depth cooperation, not only on student exchange and summer school, but also on faculty academic research and exchange visits. The two parties reached broad consensus on deepening cooperation.
