The seminar on “APEC and the new trend of regional economic cooperation ” was held by the Department of International Economy and Trade in Room 410 on 10am. 22^th Nov, 2014.

Zhang Yansheng, secretary-general of the academic committee of the National Development and Reform Commission, Shen Danyang, the ministry of commerce spokesman, Wang Jinlong, president of newspapers of Central Party School, and Zhao Jianglin, director of the Chinese academy of social sciences institute of asia-pacific and global strategic research office of the international economic relations were invited to attend the seminar. All the faculties of the department and personages of academic and political circles also took part in the seminar.

The seminar was chaired by Professor Wang Yuesheng, head of Department of International Economic and Trade. He noticed that the seminar is timely as the APEC meeting in China is one of the key point of the international economic and trade policy. The guests and participants gave their views and discussed lively about the issues that everyone care about during the session.
