Head of Department of Economics, Monash University Visits SEPKU

On March 4, 2013, dean of the School of Economics, Peking University (SEPKU) Professor Sun Qixiang and associate dean Professor Dong Zhiyong met with head of the Department of Economics of Australia`s Monash University Professor Russel Smyth.

In 2012, Dean Sun Qixiang visited the university with PKU delegation led by PKU President Zhou Qifeng. The two sides reached a preliminary consensus in many areas of cooperation. Professor Smyth`s return-visit to our school is designed to communicate the specific details of the cooperation. In addition to undergraduate exchange, Professor Dong Zhiyong discussed the dual-degree master program with Professor Smyth in detail. Joint cultivation, PhD. `3+1` cultivation program, etc were also included in the scope of the agreement of intent.
